Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
The book that I read was Harry Potter and the Chamber of secrets. The author of this book was J.K Rowling. Some of the characters in this book were Harry Potter, Ron Weasly, Dudley, and professors Snape, dumbledore, Lockhart, and Mc gonnagel. Harry Pottrer is a wizard whose parents were killed in an attack by another wizard. Ron weasly is Harrys best friend. Dudley is Harry's cousin that he is forced to live with after the death of his parents. Professors Snape, Dumbledore, Lockhart, and Mcgonnagel are some of Harrys teachers at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This book takes place in both the muggle or non-magic world and the wizarding world. Harry is treated badly by his aunt and uncle but he is treated especially bad by Dudley.

Harry only has to live with them during vacation when school is out. One day the Dursley family and Harry go to the zoo. When they were there Harry accidentally set a python loose on Dudley This angered the Dursley family because they strongly believed that magic people were freaks and that is mostly why they treated Harry so badly. One particular night Harry was sitting in his room looking through the bars of his window when he sees a light in the sky. When he could finally see what the light was he couldn't believe it. It was his best friend Ron who came to take him away from the Dursley. Harry got his things together and got in the car. At the same time Harry?s uncle came rushing in to stop him in doing she failed and fell out of the window. When it came time for Harry and Ron to go to school they couldn't get to the train that would take them to school. They found this to be odd and so they went to the car, which could fly and took off. The first mistake was that they did this in broad daylight so people saw the flying car.
When the got to school they had actually wrecked the car into a tree they got detention. Harry was on his way back from detention and saw a cat it was petrified. Everyone thought that Harry did it. People were being petrified now and the cure was still being made. Harry was sure that it was someone in school doing this so he and his friends made a potion to find out who. They needed a strand of hair from the people that the potion would turn them into. They made the potion in the girl?s lavatory because no one ever went in there due to a ghost named moaning myrtle. Moaning Myrtle lived in a toilet. Harry's friend Hermoine was then petrified. She had a piece of paper in her hands that said that the thing that doing this to people was a basilisk or a giant snake. The paper also said that it was moving around in the pipes.
