Rakshabandhan 2020 - auspicious coincidence
Rakshabandhan 2020 - Auspicious Coincidence

Do not tie rakhi to sister brother due to Bhadrakala at 9.27 am.  On this day Rahukal will be there from 7:30 am to 9 am.  Having these two, Raksha Bandhan is auspicious to celebrate only after 9.28 am.

Shravan Purnima is celebrated in Shravan Nakshatra.  Shravan Nakshatra will start from 7.18 am.  During this, the coincidence of the full moon date will be only 9:27 pm.  After this, Bhadrapada Krishna Paksha Pratipada will start.  It is considered a zero date.  Tying a rakhi in it is also not considered auspicious.

There are many mythological stories of Rakshabandhan, but among them the story of Raja Bali and Maa Lakshmi has great importance.  According to mythology, Rakhi was tied by Mata Lakshmi to Bali for the salvation of the gods residing here in King Bali.  King Bali had promised to free the gods as a gift to his sister Lakshmi.

King Bali also laid down the condition that the gods would remain in captivity for four months of the year.  In this way, all the gods reside in the Hades from Devshayani Ekadashi of Ashada Shukla Paksha to Devouthani Ekadashi of Kartik Shukla Paksha.  During this time, the demands of marriage etc. of worldly life are prohibited.

How long will the Rakhi not open from the wrist?

After tying Rakshatra, keep it tied for at least one side.  If it opens automatically, keep it safe.  Later, flow it into the running water or press it into the soil.

What should be the Raksha Sutra or Rakhi?

Rakshasutra should be of three threads.  Red yellow and white.  Otherwise there should be red and yellow thread.  If there is sandalwood in the Raksasutra, it will be very auspicious.  If nothing happens, Kalava can also be tied with reverence.

How to celebrate Rakshabandhan festival?

Place roli, sandalwood, Akshat, curd, Rakshasutra and sweets in the plate.  Also keep a lamp of ghee, so that the brother's aarti is done.  First of all, offer the sutra and the plate of worship.  After this, make your brother sit facing east or north.  First apply tilak to your brother.  Tie Raksha Sutra and then perform Aarti.

Then feed sweets and wish brother.  The head of brother and sister should not be open at the time of tying up Rakshasutra.  Take the blessings of the parents and the Guru after arranging the Raksha Bandhan, and then give the gift to the sister according to her ability.  Give such items in gifts that are good for both.

Vaidik Rakhi

One festival after another is going on in the coronary and now it is the turn of Rakshabandhan.  It is possible that in the midst of all kinds of restrictions this year, we cannot celebrate this festival with as much pomp as we do every year.  You have to protect yourself and celebrate this festival of brotherly love.  If it is not possible for you to get a rakhi from the market, then there is no need to be disappointed at all.  Today we are telling you the method of making Vedic Rakhi and the ingredients required for it which will be available in your kitchen and puja.

Method of preparation of Vedic Rakshasutra

It requires 5 items.  Durva, Akshat, Saffron, Sandalwood, Mustard seeds.  Tie or stitch these 5 items in silk cloth, then sew them into Kalava, thus the Vedic Rakhi will be ready.  Now let us tell you the importance of these five things.

 Durva

Just as a sprout of durva spreads rapidly at sowing and grows to thousands, so should my brother's lineage and virtues grow rapidly.  Ethics, purity of mind increases rapidly.  Durva is loved by Ganesha, that is, the person whom we are tying a rakhi, destroys obstacles in his life and may get wealth, splendor and opulence.

Akshata

Akshata means a non-decaying object.  Just as the qualities of integrity are there, we should never lose the love of brother and sister with those qualities.  May the devotion to our Gurudev never be ruined and always intact.

Saffron

The nature of saffron is fast, that is, the one we are tying the rakhi to be stunning.  May the intensity of spirituality, devotion of devotion never decrease in his life.  May the grace of Lord Krishna, Maa Lakshmi and Shiva be forever on him.

Sandalwood

The sandalwood is strong in nature and gives an aroma as well as coolness.  In the same way, there should be coolness in his life, never have mental stress.  At the same time, the fragrance of benevolence, virtue and self-control continued to spread in his life.

Mustard seeds

Mustard is incisive in nature, which means that we should be vigilant in eliminating the faults of society, and to keep the path of truth forever.

Mata Kunti tied this rakhi on Abhimanyu

In the Mahabharata, this protector Mata Kunti tied her grandson Abhimanyu.  As long as this thread was in Abhimanyu's hands, he was protected, Abhimanyu died when the thread broke.  Speak these verses while tying a rakshaasutra
